Hi everyone! I figured it was about time I joined the online community and started my own blog. My hope is this blog can be used by friends, family, and congregation members to spark lively discussions about a whole range of issues, from theology to church life to books and TV shows. Great job on the blog. I so enjoyed youth Sunday as well. I couldn’t believe my ears to hear how grown and mature Alex and Laura have become. I’m glad you had time to worship with your family…that should happen more often!

Great idea! I listen to talk radio in the car and just last week one program was discussing pastors and blogging. One guy said pretty much all pastors were doing it now, that blogging is the fastest growing form of communication. And I wondered to myself if you were into it. What a coincidence!
Great idea. I will read often.

Hi Aunt Nancy! I’ve been meaning to do this for awhile; I simply needed to sit down and make myself do it. I’m really enjoying it! I have about five or six things I want to write, but I’m trying to pace myself. I really hope my congregation uses this as a way to continue conversations. I plan on posting sermons on here so that we can continue the conversation beyond Sunday morning. We’ll see how it goes. Glad you’ll be reading. I look forward to your comments!

Hi Judy! Leigh and I haven’t worshipped together on a regular basis since before I entered seminary…that was about 8 years ago! I really miss sitting with her and the girls, but we both know that’s part of the job. Makes the times we do get to worship together that much more special!
